L5 Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling [PC-L5]

 

This qualification is designed to give learners the knowledge, skills and competencies to work as self-employed counsellors in independent practice.

Entry Requirements

​

Candidates will need to have a CPCAB Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling (TC-L4) or the RPL [recognised prior learning] (RPL) equivalent ([minimum 420 Guided Learning Hours [GLH])], in addition to appropriate pre-TC-L4 ([or equivalent)] training.  See also CPCAB candidate entry requirements in section 5 and RPL guidance on the website.

Entry requirements onto the L5 programme

​

Candidates will be interviewed by one of the ClearPath training team. You will be required to present your Level 4 portfolio at the interview.

References will be required by your Level 4 training establishment, placement agency, and current supervisor. A decision will be made following the interview as to your competencies in undertaking the Level 5 programme.

Each candidate will be provided with an E-portfolio.

​

E-portfolios are effective learning tools because they support students’ own knowledge construction, make otherwise invisible aspects of the learning process visible, and place agency in the hands of students, which fosters learners’ motivation.

Candidates can access resources online in the classroom, or in own time to give the best possible support on your learning journey.

Course Fees

 

The fees for this course:

£2,699.00 including the £339.00 CPCAB Registration Fee.  This fee includes the CPD workshops required. Details of the CPD workshops will be detailed within the scheme of work. These fees can be paid as:

A one-off payment of £2,539.00

or

A deposit of £839.00 paid upon registration, plus 6 installations of £300.00 on 1st of each month commencing in October 2023
